185/55 R14 tyre choices ?

Hi just wondering weather anyone knows of a good tyre choice for 185 55 r14 tyres any help would be great.

I can't fault the Dunlop Fast responses I went with. By the way 185/60/14 is the standard size if it's a Mk1?

Thanks for the reply mate il look in to them. Iv had 185 60s on there before but felt I got a lot of tyre role with them just want to see if lowering the profile will make any difference.

I've a set of Dunlop Sport Fast Response on the front of mine. Haven't had much to compare them too as I bought it with a nearly dead Avon and new-ish budget tyre on the front, so the handling was awful. But I've no complaints.

I also have a set on the front of my C1. They replaced the OE Continental Eco thingys it came with. The difference is night and day, completely transformed the way it drives.

I use 195/55. Keeps the rolling radius the same.

Both sizes have a smaller rolling diameter than the original, but the difference in diameter isn't really going to be noticeable in the speedo
