Ive recently turbo charged my car and it's currently running the base map but im looking to get it tuned.

Im running TunerStudio but if im honest a lot of it is way over my head and i'd really like the help from someone who knows what they are doing. Im not fussed about getting every single last HP out of it so would only be looking at a street tune to get it running nicely. If anybody would be interested in helping out id happily pay for your time.

Many thanks,

Mat.

if your timing map is safe, you can spend a bit of time with auto-tune just getting the fuelling right. this will save you time and money at the dyno.

Its the autotune thats causing me the headache.

Ive got a Reverent MS2 and followed the instructions yet on one run some of the values dropped so much that it was trying its best to cut out below 3k revs.

Now its idling for a minute or so before cutting out.

Do i need to alter any of the more in depth settings?

Also ive just fitted an AFR gauge and where Tunerstudio is showing a steady 12-12.5 at idle the gauge is bouncing all over the place!

You are using a wideband o2 sensor aren't you, not the stock narrowband? You can't really accurately tune on narrowband.

if you can get a screenshot from megalog viewer of what's happening when it cuts out, it might help. could be loads of stuff to be honest mate.

if you're really starting from nowhere, there's a bit of reading and learning to do - might be easier to just take it somewhere but no idea where's good for you. rev is a good guy tho, he'll give you a lot of support to get up and running

Just to give an update to this..

Discovered the problem today.....i had wired the wideband connector upside down! Its a 4 pin connector and i had wired the feed into the top right pin (0-1v) when it should have been the bottom right pin(0-5v).

Its idling lovely now at a steady 14.7 and no cutting out.
