Hi All

Tonight i pick up a 1.8 roadster that is going to be FI'd. I have found megasquirt plug and play ECU's for the car on fleagay but where can you get these mapped?

Cheers peeps smile

Plenty of MX5 specialists and other tuners around who can do this, check out the MX5Nutz forum for instance.

you can get it 90% of the way there just with a few clear roads and a good few hours. but they are pretty simple and becoming increasingly common. i'd have thought most tuners should be able to get on with it fairly easily.

I can totally recommend Dale at Bailey Performance in Telford. There's nothing he can't do with a megasquirt. he's done my mk2 a few times now.

As Skinny says, they aren't hard to tune. Personally I'd just pay someone to do it for you though as while fuelling is simple, timing requires more equipment to listen for knock and if you get it wrong you can lunch your engine.
A well tuned 250bhp engine will last longer than a poorly tuned 160bhp engine.
