Anyone dyed a beige roof black?

Hi All,
Looking at picking up an N/A in BRG with a beige roof. The roof looks old dirty and tired. My budget won't stretch to a new roof just yet so I was thinking of cleaning the roof as much as possible and dying it black.
Has anyone done this before, if so how happy were you with results? And what products did you use?
