So unfortunately I am struggling to find somewhere to store my Eunos at the moment so I am considering swapping both current cars for a mk3 2.0 sport. Going to have a look at one at the weekend. Am I going to hate it compared to the Eunos though?

Get a go in a sorted one you will wonder why you waited so long.

I chopped a Mk2 for a Mk3 last year to complete the set. Budget for replacement suspension springs.

Yes definitely agree they do sit unusually high don't they? How low did you go and do you have a picture?

I've owned a Mk3.5, Mk3, Mk2.5, Mk1. I actually had the Mk1 at the same time as the Mk3, and as an only car the Mk3 is an excellent proposition. The 2.0i Sport is the cream of the crop, and with £300-£600 for lowering (either springs or coilovers) and a decent geometry set up you will really love driving it.

Definitely worth a drive of one!

H&R 35mm, shows how high they are standard that this is lowered

That looks really good, looks like it should have when it came out of the factory! Does it still ride ok and presumably doesn't rub?

I did a similar thing a couple of years ago - replaced a 4-seater + a mk1 with a Mk3. All of the fun of a '5 with all of the comfort of a modern car. The larger boot was handy at times, but it's a small price to pay for a fun daily car.

a set of eibachs should set you back around 200 euros, also fitting rx8 sway bars improves body roll quite dramatically and they go for peanuts

Get the spring rates right and there is no need for stiffer anti-roll bars.
