Price thoughts SC mk1?

Pal of mine asked me what I thought his Mx would be worth private sale, as I've had a couple of SC'd Mk1s.
Mine however have been a lot higher miles & not as nice condition as his so am a bit unsure.
His is 55k miles, new P5 suspension, JRSC 45 with piggyback, I've not seen it for a while but it was as mint as youd expect with those miles, I can't remember if it was a 1.6 or 1.8 tho, good tyres & think it had mk2 brakes, I seem to recall it was a uk car no lsd.
My thoughts were he should get 2.5k easy, as I got that for both mine easily & had 120k odd miles each, so prob 3k is a better aim & perhaps a tad more?

Sounds about right - limited market of course mainly due to the loading you encounter for the power
up-grade.
There are a number of guys over on MX5Nutz who are starting s/c conversions but TBH my advice to them has been to buy one already done and save the aggro involved.
Might be worth going over there and contacting them?
