Water in passenger footwell of a Mark 3

Hi

Where's the most likely place that this rain is getting in? The car has a retracting metal roof not a soft top.

It usually comes in through a cheap foam seal under the plastic scuttle panel.

I removed wiper arms, rubber seal, 2 caps & screws.

Plastic scuttle, lift in centre to reveal white plastic mounts each side where the screws fixed to, this is where the water enters.

Clean up area, dry, then bathroom silicone loop round offending mount.

Job done.
