I've seen a couple of Mx5/eunos running about with steel wheels on. Are they a Mazda item or borrowed from something else?

I quite fancy getting a set for some winter tyres.

Thanks in advance.

They're the genuine Mazda ones by the looks of it. Don't see many about.

Easiest to come buy will be some 4x100 14" VW steels as fitted to MKII and non GTI MKIII Golfs. Should be cheap as chips.

Thanks for that.

I don't think the VW wheels look as good, but they would do the job.

Thanks again.

The genuine mazda steel wheels are rare.
VW or ny 4x100 PCD wheels will fit, depending on the ET.
If you want to fit steel wheels then can I suggest 15" for a better choice in tyres etc.

I have some brand new ones and on tyres they were very hard to get, i wanted the 1960 look, another interesting option is the golf g60 steel wheels in 15", but they are getting hard to get

They are Mazda items – I managed to track down an unused original set to fit on my MK1 – it's interesting how much the wheels change the look of the car – when I bought it, it had big blingy alloys on – not my taste at all. Although I did confuse the guys at the local tyre place who didn't understand me throwing away alloys to fit steel wheels...

They look fabulous. Very jealous. Always been keen on the cars in BRG too.

That looks great. Amusingly I'd imagine those are probably not much difference in weight to the alloys if they were blingy aftermarket ones.
I've been looking for some winter wheels for my NB (I miss my NA's) and a set of 15" 4x100 alloys is so cheap these days I'm going to be ending up with some rather grim TSW's finest to run around on.
