Really excited about my eunos which arrived today
Bought it from Steve Bloxham of Goodwood Sports cars ,who has been a real pleasure to deal with in all regards
Its in nice original spec aside from 4 extra braces underneath and a Mazdaspeed SS exhaust
My only possible concern is that it seems to be sitting a lot lower [it's on the std Billies ] than my previous 91 V spec 1.6 -so i just hope i don't bottom out on speed bumps and the like ..
I cant wait to see how it handles and how the engine pulls cf my V spec [which was nice to drive ]

That looks a very nice clean example. Not sure I've seen one that colour before. There's been some nice cars on this thread recently. smile

ETA....you should add some pics to this thread...

I believe it's called vin rouge aka merlot ,which was also made in a uk model
What appealed to me was all the trick bits and the type 2 engine with light flywheel and 4.3 final drive ratio

The UK Merlots tend to have a grey leather interior as opposed to cream, I almost bought one but the guy went on holiday and my one popped up whilst he was away. I think it looks much better with the cream interior, just in time for summer too smile

yep actually its called stone ,which is the correct colour to match the seats -most VR ltds have a tan or manilla hood colour -but after some research with Dandycars i found that stone was the correct colour for this car -this was the last one they had in .I think it looks good actually .

the seats on the vr ltd are much paler [ie more cream coloured ] than on my previous V special [which were orangy tan ] -hence the hood is described as being beige or light grey [aka stone ]
