Does the CSL have traction control and stability control? If so, is it switchable on/off. Also, if it does have them, how do they compare with the M3? Is it set up to allow more rear end slide, or can you adjust the amount of slip angle the rear can do before it cuts in?
(I seem to remember reading somewhere that it has these, but you can get full lock before it cuts in, but think that may have been a report on an early prototype CSL).

CSL has traction control which can be turned off (although I'm not sure if it's completely off)

Also has M track mode which allows the car to move around a bit more before the TC cuts in.

The CSL has DSC (dynamic stability control) which includes TC. Enabled by default but you disable it (fully) by simply pressing the DSC button. A telltale appears on the dashboard.
M-Track (selected by the seperate steering wheel button) is an 'inbetween' mode which allows more lateral slip.
If you want to be total hooligan then DSC off is the only way smile
