well having thought I'd made up my mind that I was looking for a 911 I've now started looking at both M46 M3's and CSL's

I would be looking at the lower end of CSL prices and searching through the classifieds found this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2302940.htm

Has anyone been to see it?

Not knowing much about CSL's one concern I have is how difficult it would be to sell a 70-75k mile car next year is this likely to be a nightmare?

Lastly could anyone point me in the direction of a good buying guide, I'd imagine that most of it is similar to the standard E46.

Shameless advertising I know but I'm thinking of getting out of mine for similar money...not put it up for sale yet but it's 50k miles and I'm also in Sussex. If you're interested PM me?!

I seem to remember Charles of Windsor getting a very bad review on here somewhere, not sure if it was a BMW on offer or a Porsche.

Thanks for the replies.

I've registered on the CSL forum so will have a look around there over the next few days

AA121, I'll drop you an e-mail I could be interested but would need to sell my S2000 before committing to purchasing anything.

also managed to find the post regarding the GT3 they were selling which doesn't sound good.

Doesn't sound great does it.

I think I've managed to get hold of the previous owners contact details so I'm going to try and get hold of them, might be a decent car thats been traded in.

Went too see it yesterday, far from a bad car but not perfect, generally clean, new tyres and the big AP's.

Couple of little repairs on the bodywork which weren't great could easily be sorted but the plastic around the rear seats and on the back of the front seats was looking a bit worse for ware, looks like it's had child seats in it which hasn't done it any favors at all and I doubt cheap or easy to sort out.

The dealer also didn't seam all that interested in selling the car, never got the history out, refused a test drive as I sill had at least 1 more car to look at despite the other car being a private sale and therefore unable to take my S2000 in part ex and then wasn't remotely interested in looking at the S2000 with regards to trade in value.

I can understand he didn't want me to waste his time but I also don't really want to waste my time driving back up there for him to offer a piss take trade in against his full asking price.

Oh well, I'll keep an open mind but don't think it's the car for me,

Heading over to look at another today so fingers crossed it's better.
