If you Sport Evo is in good order and reasonable mileage then you will have to wait a long time before a CSL will have the same value. Sport Evo prices are getting silly these days.

The best CSL's are £35k.
The best SE's are £60k+

But ultimately all depends on the condition of your SE.

In that case, unless you REALLY want a CSL, then the SE is the best long term bet.

Interestingly, if you use the Bank of England's inflation calculator then the equivalent new Sport Evo price is £58459 (£34500 in 1990).

P.S Rags, with respect, I don't think you will get an unbiased view from any establishment who's business it is to make profit from the thing you are asking about.

I beg to differ as they could probably engineer a deal for you with their SOR and they also get a few CSL's in from time to time.

However, the smart move would be to sell the appreciating Sport Evo and then purchase the currently depreciating CSL and be quids in (you hope!)

Sell an appreciating asset to buy a depreciating one and be better off? Other than being cash rich in the very short term, How does that work?

Why not keep the SE and buy CSL
