Only 500 RHD 1972 CSLs were built with i beleive all ? of them being imported to Britain and sold new here . Any one have an idea how many have survived ? With an Absolutely Stratospheric price tag of almost 7 grand ,( A V-12 E-Type was only £3,200 and an Aston 6 grand) they were slow to sell . Celeb Owners included Norman Wisdom and Shaun Connery . Chassis No.1 went to OZ some years ago . Any one out there have any more CSL info or own one ?

I think maybe 200 or so survive but it's tricky to get a true number. E9-driven.com has a page where you can register your vin. They have about 35 CSLs on there but a mixture of LHD and RHD. I own one and know of about another 10 currently running in the South East. Some are in Australia and South Africa too.

There is at least one RHD car running here in Malaysia, it was at a classic 'hiil climb' last year,. Musthave been a UK car imported, it was in outstanding condition, I'll try to find a photo.
