csl wheels on z4m, can you guys help please?
Discussion
right guys i know this is completely unrelated to you but i think you may be able to help, ive got a set of CSL wheels, ive just had all 4 tyres replaced for mich Ps2, but their is no tyre pressure data for the z4m on 19s, obviously due to the fact it was supplied with 18s stock. im running the stock csl sizes 235/35/19 265/30/19, im hoping for a nice even wear and the best compromise for fast road driving ect ect. Ive got so many different conflicting advice i thought it best to ask you guys, help please!! most sensible seemed 32front 34rear? with others telling me 38/40??? thankyou for your time.
typically you will wear the inside edges more on the front and centre more on the rears if you run optimum pressures and good road geo. The Z4 might be different but i would keep the rears about 34 and play with the front up and down form 34.
the higher the less inner or edge wear you will get and better mpg and the lower pressure you will probably feel it handling better BUT loose some life out of the tyres
geo is as, if not more important so if you are on BMW geo then is is set up guess towards understeer a bit so prone again to take the egdes off the front and otherwise even tyre wear for general motoring
