I have an idea that this car used to belong to a pistonheader? Anyone care to comment,it's a good price/milage compromise but does it have any hidden history?mail me if you don't want to post

Surely if someone traded the car or knows who did then they would know the car?

I went to see this car as the price was pretty attractive. Well it turns out the previous owner had lost the Service Book but he had found another one and sent it around all the dealers for stamps but still no receipts. It was still missing any service history between 2007-2009 and a total of 27000 miles and he never registered it in his name as he was a 'Trader'. It had Marshall tyres on the front and Nankang's on the rear. Gave me no choice but to walk away but good luck to the new owner....

I've viewed it; it’s in quite good nick.

However the pakistanis who are trying to sell the car are lairs. The first question I asked over the phone was,” what is the exact mileage", the response was” it’s just ticked over to 50K as I was driving it", this was complete Bullst. The little amount of documentaion which was available showed the car had been brought in with 51k on the clock. The salesman lied within the first 20 seconds of our conversation and the advert is full of lies.

When I arrived to view the car, I noticed the st tyres and the drivers side door needed a really good tug to open it, the salesman said, “there all like that", another lie,
When I explained they are not, he said, "how do you know are you a technician or something".

What a fking clown

Do these guys think their selling a Toyota Avensis or something?

christ I hope the new owner is fully aware of the situation. I looked at the ad as I was looking for a csl but didn't like the way teh ad was worded, sounded like they didn't really know the CSL
