New CSL owner- strange noises!!!!
Discussion
Hi all,
Im a newbie to this forum and have just bought a CSL. Firstly what an amazing car, seriously impressive.
I wanted to get some advice from you guys about some noises im getting off the car. Its all slow speed stuff, sounds like a kind of creaking noise under the front, and theres some very slow speed noises from the brakes. I bought it from the main dealer with AP racing brakes all round and KW coilovers with uprated bushes. I took it in to get these noises checked out and the technicians looked over it and said everythings perfect. Can anyone tell me if they have this and if so is this just a normal thing for a CSL?
Thanks alot all.
James

KW like intrax etc are race suspension fundamentaly and the springs do make noises especially at low speeds and turning the wheel
AP brakes that i have make 3 noises;
1. if you have hard pads like RS29 then they can spueak with road use
2. you can easily get a little bit f rubbing between the stone guard and disc front or back
3. It is posisble to have the anti rattle clips either left out or upside down or back to front. This will make the pads rattle in the calliers
i would say though you have nothing to worry about just soem minor investigation and leaning out of the sidew window whilst rolling along
