kw clubsport track settings please
Discussion
I'm running this now and its works a treat after many combination trials..
It takes pretty much all the understeer out, but costs a bit more on tyres..
If you pull the turret tops out when your done it reverts back to parallel or just toe in.. you need to run an aggresive front camber or your tyres will be toast before the day is out..!
Front per corner: +10mm track spacers, push the turret tops all the way in and set it to -3.0 neg, 1mm toe out, std castor.
Rear per corner : std track, -1.75 neg, 0.5mm toe out..
Its pretty neutral, with a very slight oversteer bias over 85mph..
Run the rear parallel if your not used to it sliding too much..
How much track work have you done..?
Are you familiar with the basics of setting the car up for the day..?
DRY..
Front damper settings: bump and rebound 1/2 turn
Rear damper settings: Bump 1/2 turn, rebound 1 1/2 turns.
With a bit of practice you will be able to fine tune the balance of the car on the the rebound settings and tyre pressures on the day if you need to.
Front Tyre pressures: HOT 32psi
Rear Tyre pressures HOT 33psi
Have fun..!..
NB... if you havnt done the rear trailing arm bushes yet, do them now, while its in bits, and needs a geo, you will be wasting your time setting the rear toeing up if its on stock bushes, they move all over the place, and it will handle like a pallet truck when your on the power off the apex's....!
