SMG - Parking on a slope....

Expecting a major flaming for this, but.....

What do you do when you are parking on a steep slope...? (unless I am mistaken, there is no "Park" on the stick). Do you just leave in first like you would a manual ?

I always carry a couple bricks in the car just in case i get caught out on a slope somewhere

Seriously - leave SMG in "drive" and it is effectively leaving it in 1st gear when you turn the ignition off - handbrake as a backup too.

I always used to leave it in gear turn the car off then move the gear stick (smg) stick until it locks, added security
