Just took some insurance out with Kwik Fit as they came out best - £415 with a named driver - fully comp. You also get a £30 Kwik Fit voucher and if you use quidco.com you get cash back too.

i'm the same as above-kwik fit did an unbelievable quote-a good £400 below renewal & at least £250 below the best confused dot com etc could find
in fact it was so cheap i did a little digging-on their computer they didn't have the csl only the standard smg coupe so they then rang me back & the csl was actually cheaper!?
they may now have it on their system & after going through everything it all stacks up as a good quote-it even says m3 csl coupe on the documents, my only concern was that they seemed to qoute it as a manual but their customer services assured that a smg gearbox is not classed as an automatic. they do make quite a strong point about only paying out the market value when you mention your purchase price which would make you think they obviously view the csl as some dealer special edition with nice wheels on but as we all know the threat of legal can usually sort out any daft pay out offers in the unfortunate case of a claim.
obviously the policy has european cover & you'll be glad to know there is no disclaimer regarding the nurburgring. to cap it all off i also got the free kwik fit mot voacher & for an extra £40 quid they gave an excess protection policy & free key cover up to the cost of a grand which covers any locks on your key ring including business use & doesn't affect your ncb
& i know it might read like it but i don't work for kwik fit!seriously this is the best deal i've ever got in the 15 years i've ben buying performance cars.if your renewal is coming up give these guys a shout before they realise what it is they're quoting on!

Scott.. I was with Admiral and about £500 all in protected no claims last year on the stock car..

Ask the right questions & declare the modifications, most will give you cover on a modified car, but they wont actually cover the cost of replacing the mods for theft, or accident damage, just the base car.., so you wouldn't get anything to buy some more dampers with if it got pinched..

I have found Adrian Flux one of the few brokers that will give full cover on a modified car, its a royal sun alliance policy..

£700 fully comp with protected no claims

If it was totally stock spec.. 4-500 quid is a good price.. pending your age / claim history of course..
