Hazy : A lot of M3 owners would feel they couldn't justify paying a premium on a CSL, as on paper they equate to very similar figures. Obviously from a driving perspective it is completly different. Does the same argument (argument is the wrong word discussion perhaps) arise in the Ferrari world between the 360 Modena and the Challenge Stradale? Did you notice a difference the 1st time you sat into the CS, that it was a completly different car?

The premium is worth it, as it is for the Challenge Stradale, totally totally different cars. The CS moreso is worlds apart from a 360, and like M3 owners, 360 owners will argue the toss the CS isnt worth the extra £££. Until they drive one!!! The extra £££ is justified for the CS and CSL just for the noise alone!!! I consider myself a very very lucky boy to own two such special cars

ah, so that was you!!! Hmm Gastro can fq about for England cant he.....I take some degree of umbridge at the 'fq about for england' description. There were some barriers to me initally selling and I was clear to all those involved.
Having at one stage 6 people (some of which were offering me money before seeing the car !) at once wanting to see the car I had to be as transparent on my situation as I could. Otherwise it would have been yours truly who would have been royally fq'd around and this may have jeopardised the sale altogether.
Once I knew the car was 100% for sale, the car was offered to one person on a first refusal basis, but since they could not access funds quickly I then got back to people and asked for their interest. I hope that Anis will vouch the he got a good deal, a top drawer motor (which has 2 2-2 inch scuffs on the back seat from my child seat) and was not fq'd around at all.
Your comments make me sort of glad we never did do business, but glad you got sorted....... Enjoy
Gastro's car is mint apart from that scuff in the back seat which actually is not nearly as bad when seen in real life compared to a photo. With the mileage it has, the condition, the quality weatherproof car cover, the 2 spare wheels, the immaculate bodywork and the price Gastro (Simon) did me I think I have got an absolute belter. I know CSLs very well having already had 2 and this was in better nick than the other 2 I had. I am very very happy with my purchase in every respect. He was also a top chap to deal with it and I knew others were interested as he always told me that, and I moved accordingly to do the deal.
