I had a CSL for a while and I bought a set of M3 wheels for track days. I also have 2 sets of the cup tyres for the CSL. The wheels are by no means perfect - there are a few scuffs etc but did the job fine. 1 set of tyres are fairly worn, but the other is fairly new.

I want to put them up in the classified ads and will be in the next day or two once I have got round to taking the photos, but have absolutely no idea on the value of any or all of the above. Does anyone here have any idea of the value??

To the floor...

I take it you mean m3 19" wheels - if so, I don't think they are worth much. Maybe £400 ish. If you have the 18's they will be worth around £200. If you have a set of genuine csl wheels you would probably easily see £700 - these have gone up recently from dealers for new ones.

A set of road legal but used cups will probably be worth about £250

A set of hardly used ones should be worth £500 or so.

Post up on here what they are all like.

All the above is obviously not gospel and purely in my experience. As in, I have bought new and used tyres and wheels for the m3 / csl.

Ok. The wheels are 19". Like I said, some scuffs on the wheels, so not immaculate unfortunately!!
The front tyres are: 235/35/ZR19
The rear tyres are: 265/30/ZR19

Let me know if you can give me any extra info

Seems like reasonable guidelines to me, might be interested in the cups...

Are the cups for the csl wheels? Are the csl alloys the same size as the normal m3 19" confused? If the cups are to fit the csl wheel i could be interested too.

the CSL came on cups (on CSL wheels) and they were the same size as these, so that is a yes!! :-)

if you would like some specific photos of the tyres, drop me a PM.

When i bought the car the owner told me he had the camber changed as it was not running on cups. If this is the case, what should the camber be for cups if different at all?

Negative 2 to 3 degrees. You can only just about get -2 degrees without changing the std suspension.

Whats the reason for changing the camber when it came off cups you think? Is it something to do with the walls of that paticular tyre?

We used to chop cups for road and back again fairly regularly and never once changed the camber.

Pics coming later today

I'm up near Preston. If you were close I would come for a nosey. The tyres look to be quite good from what I can see.

Is the better set the ones on the rims or off the rims?

Hi

The better set of cups is on the rims, yeah.
