Shift lights not all going out!

Does any 1 know if all the shift lights are ment to out on the dash as the car warms up (csl).?
The reason iam asking is all of mine go out as the car gets warm except one orange and two red which never go out and iam sure they are all ment to go out?

that's right I think. The red stays on showing the red line that you can't go past and one orange that always stays on. You can obviously rev through the orange one and in doing this it should light all the others up back to about 4k revs to tell you to change gear.

Yep that's right!

1x Orange + 2x Red stay on.

That is correct.
But they aren't strictly speaking the shift lights.
As you rev up to the limit 2 or 3 lights flash before these three that are permanently on telling you to shift up.

In lower gears, they are on for a milliseconds, but once in 3rd gear and above you can see them a little longer (as the revs are rising slower) telling you to shift gear.
