Credit crunch CSL wanted, any spec, any colour, low miles, must be really tidy, dont mind if it has a few genuine stonechips/marks or needs tyres etc,I can look beyond cosmetics just want a solid, genuine car, above all else must be cheap. The recession has yet to deepen so get rid at reasonable money whilst you still can!!! I will be buying a car in the next week or so, so look sharp if any of you genuinely want to sell for the right money. E mail me the details/spec and tiny price through my profile please smile

SMG is fine mate. It is tonnes better than a std 360 and on par with the Strad. You don't need to put it into neutral at a stop. There are certain techniques - full throttle changes, lift slightly etc - it's just about finding the right one for you - I go full throttle !!

There are 6 setting that you can control over the speed of gearbox changes, I have mine in S5 (S6 available with traction off). You can drive it as an auto if you want smile

Not many noise issues on the track - intake is the main issue which is difficult to measure at standstill.

Let me know how it goes and see you out on the track.

Rick

May consider selling mine.

04 in black. 21,000 miles, 1 previous owner, all the bits you want, xenons rear park assist, air con etc. All the correct servicing including the all important first one!! Up graded stereo by AutoAudio in London. Otherwise totally original - no mods, no upgrades, no new paint. Never tracked. Lovely, low mileage, original and unmolested which is why I want £29,000 for it!!

You're right mate. I am a girl, so please treat me accordingly with a bit chivalry.

Will call you tomorrow to discuss how we avoid the same cars.

Prices not as low as they were 3 months ago with the panic selling, because of the 'credit crunch'. Cheapest one in classifieds is 25k, which I believe a number have seen and walked away...Low miles...I think you still need 27k plus to be honest. Prices have firmed up again, but you never know what will happen this year.

Personally, I think the next six months will be terrible from a business perspective, so the number of people who will physically HAVE to sell their cars for whatever they can get will increase. Personally I think £23k for a 40k miles car is about right.

Yeah, looking at the classifieds you're going to struggle picking up and immaculate low mileage example for £25k. For that money I would expect a 'used' car with fairly average miles. If £25k is the limit, then maybe an M3 would be a better option?
