Hello all,
sorry if i'm covering old ground but couldn't find what I was after using the search. I have a Cerbera at the moment but am looking to change it next year due to lack of use. The Cerb is a weekend car but the next one won't be. It will be used as every day transport to work.
I am really tempted by the csl but am unsure if it's suitable for this kind of use and also for the other half to use a lot of the time. If not perhaps the cs is a better option for me. Any thoughts appreciated.
Cheers,
Ed

CSL is perfectly fine for a daily journey and for the misses to use. It really is an everyday useable car. If you buy the CS you'll only want to upgrade to the CSL eventually anyway.!
it does depend on how big your wifes arse is as the seats are a bit tight!![quote]With regards to the TVR - keep it. You know you'll only want another one as soon as it goes!
Love the TVR but unfortunately finances won't allow keeping the two of them. It sits in the garage too much as it is. The missus has a below average sized arse I would say so it looks like both the CS and CSL are an option.
I think I will have to try both to see what I think, I'm presuming I can drive any M3 rather than searching for a CS as they are so similar. Just need to find a local CSL to try out then. I have reservations about the gearbox but reading through this forum it seems many of the owners on here thought the same before they tried it.
Cheers for the input,
Ed

My CSL is a daily runner, no problems for me.
The only things to consider are the seats, as there are not very adjustable and although suit me, my other half is not a fan, a small cushion sorts her out on long journeys, although she misses being able to recline the seat.
The other thing is the ride. You do feel the pot holes and rdiges and ripples in the road.
Other than that, does everything else you need it to. A superb machine!!!

i ran my CSL as daily drive for 18 months and no issues at all. Didnt miss the extras (but had a/c) at all. Seats were extra comfy but needed two back cushions just to push my huge muscly shoulders forward of the seat curve which on long drives was a bit tiresome
like i said above, the only reason i can se for not buying one above a CS would be lack of cash OR wife doesnt like the drive.
