Newbie question (don't flame)

Been saving over the last year with a view to buying a CSL (dream motor for last few years).

With the general malaise in the market i wondered how well CSL values are holding and if/when do you reckon they will reach £20k? (my budget).

They have taken a hit recently, I think about 4-5k down on a year ago. 20k? Who knows...

They do seem to be holding at 26k and have been for the last 3 months or so. Not sure what effect the credit crunch will have on values but as there will not be a new CSL probably not much. I don't think they will drop much below 23k over the next year or two with low mileage examples still holding strong.

With BMW announcing that they will NOT be making an E92 CSL, then the values are bound to hold now, which is nice.
