Car Mag confirm no E92 CSL!
Discussion
I'm absolutely livid that BMW have decided not to build a E92 CSL (link below) it even says they will concentrate on the X range cars !! To make matters worse it looks like the M1 R8 rival is also a non starter? I'm beginning to hate BMW, have they forgotten what their brand used to stand for, the drivers car rather than their automatic and 4wd German competitors ?? I will be getting my E92 CSL holding deposit back from Cooper Cobham on Monday and drowning my sorrows I now have nothing to look forward to......
Shareholder value is clearly more important to BMW than brand! Shters!
RS5 anyone?

A shame isn't it, would of been amazing 4 litre v8 430 odd bhp, would of been a true supercar slayer. Unfortunetely Bmw has forgotten that real enthusiasts drive their cars too and by doing this are in reality devalueing the brand as a whole.
So the most hardcore car they make now is the m3 e92 as I presume they aren't going to continue the m6 after this

Look on the bright side ...you still have your E46 CSL...what could be better. Don't drink to drown your sorrows get out and have a drive down your fav road, I sure that will cheer you up....then think about how the value of your CSL will hold steady now that there will not be a new version......See it's not so bad is it http://www.carmagazine.co.uk/Secret-new-cars/Searc...

Quite agree, as an E46 CSL owner, I am quite pleased! Shamma44 said:

It is a complete scandal for BMW not to produce a new CSL, and just as with Porsche, I have been very frustrated with their respective product policies ...So I turned my head around and bought a Corvette Z06.
Now, THAT, is an unbelievable machine. Just incredible that the American are now rescuing our poor souls !
