Does anyone know of any reliable places to get TWS Motorsport oil from without taking out a second mortgage as i am struggling and some say its been discontinued????

My friends and i are all going on a road trip round the alps and finishing off at the ring in less than two weeks so time is running out for me, managed to source only 4 ltrs from one website but that wiped them out of stock.

Also been told that edge 10w 60 is the latest version but not sure to trust that statement without more back-up.

Any input would be much appreciated.

It's true 'Edge' is the replacement for TWS - I believe Castrol just rebranded it. Take care to get the plain 'Edge' version rather than 'Edge Sport' which isn't compatible with 'M' cars.

As for sourcing it - Opie Oils are usually competitive.

Is that not the long life version?

Rick's info is spot on.

You need to get TWS 10w60 or EDGE 10w60 (not EDGE SPORT)

fwiw... I read in the BMsport.com newsletter today that they are offering a 20% discount on Castrol TWS 10w/60 oil with any inspection or oil service during the month of August.

Tom - What is your releationship with BM Sport? I know you have an email address there so it only seems fair to say what your involvement is if you keep recommending them...

Am a paying customer and have no business involvement... I have an email address from them as I am driving a BMsport.com liveried car (1 of 4) in the Kumho BMW championship this season as part of a deal I did for them to support me this season. BMWcar magazine is following our progress and I write a monthly 'race report/drivers diary' for the magazine & to handle that and related questions I have a BMsport.com email address.

My opinions remain my own though... and anyone who has contacted me privately to ask my opinion on Bexley Motorsport (or anyone else I have used) will already know I say it how it is, warts and all. I know what they are good at and I know what they aren't so good at.
