So had the car a week. Gave it good clean and wax today and took it off to take a few pics. Will share a few tomorrow but here is one to go on with.....Also I was under the impression that the exhaust on the CSL was a matt colour until I got my mitts on it with the polish.

Beautiful, just beautiful. I can only think of two cars in the world I'd rather have than a CSL, and I'm not so sure how upset BMW would be at being upstaged by a Ferrari F40 and a Koenigsegg CCXR Edition.

Although I must ask what on earth you're doing taking photos of it. You should be driving it with the windows down and the stereo off, listening to that noise.

My old car!!!! And the only car I've ever truly missed!

Must say the exhausts came up a treat! But where are the Nurburgring Badges?? (although I think you can only have them on once you've been there).

Keep us posted on how you're treating it Andy (and don't forget my Buy Back Offer in a year or two).

Hi Rob, I'm treating the CSL better than the wife....took the stickers off I felt a fraud as it was you that went and not me.

Great Elise weather mate...

Hi, use Autoglym paint renovator and Autoglym Polish fot the outside and very soft sand paper to get the inside clean then polish....lots of elbow grease needed though.....a metel polish/tcut will do as well.

Love it, one of the few BMW's i actually lust after. Enjoy it as it was intended, thrash the pants off it. Had one in work the other week and the plebs in work had no idea why i was dry humping it!

Car looks great Andy...

Very jealous, I must get myself one... the only 3 series I REALLY like the look of, the new M3 just looks wrong in my mind.

Hi Bund,

How's it going with the CSL? I did get quite keen on one a while back but when I couldn't find one - having the attention span of a gnat - I went on to other things. Was thinking of it as semi everyday plus 'Ring/trackday tool. Given our car ownership profiles are similar would you recommend taking the plunge? Every time I see pics I really want one - not a bad move financially either I'd guess.

Hey Pugs, hope your keeping well.

I think the car is the nuts, so pleased! I had the brake pads changed the other day for £45(not including pads) by a garage down the road from me and not something i'd of been willing to do with another car. It feels so good but completely serviceable as a normal car. Plus iv taken it to the airport for the last 2 trips away as i could get 2 large and 1 small suitcase in the back with the seats down and wasnt stting my self about someone opening there doors on it in the car park.

If you havent yet id def say have a good look at one.
