Anyone know when the CSL will be out? Are we looking at this year?

BMW haven't even said it will be built let alone looking at launch. My name has been down since 2004, I wont start planning until I know they are building it, then add 12-18-ish months as BMW's always takes forever to arrive (maybe be different with a new car as it ain't selling)

I would guess late 2009 earliest?

The CSL does exist and has certainly been seen testing. I'd guess Paris show launch with cars in the UK Spring '09.

I've got my name down as well and I keep looking for any spec details. However it's going to be interesting to see what they can do to make it worth the money. If the last one was circa £12-15K over the stock M3 coupe what is the next one going to cost?

If it's something similar it will have to be extra blinkin special for the money, circa £70K plus for a 3 series??? If they hadn't hiked the E92 M3 price so much over the E46 then they would be in a better marketing/pricing position.

Doesn't the new X6 have a twin turbo V8 petrol unit....
