Yep, looks like its my old car and was owned by another PH'er previously. Very very good example and definately worth viewing.

Looks like a great CSL.I offered £30K for the car without the AP brakes and he turned the offer down.

Still tempted though!

As a current owner of a CSL I'm quite pleased to hear your offer was turned down (vested interest and all that). That car is already very realistically priced, and I've no doubt will sell quickly without having to resort to silly offers.

You only need to look at values of the originl CSL (which were made in greater RH drive numbers) to realise that these things are going to start appreciating in value. For the money (and a lot more on top)There's nothing else out there that offers the same balance of awesome track ability with saloon levels of practicality and fantastic build integrity. Not a thing.

Dig deeper, and grab yourself a classic. You won't stop smiling....

My CSL is almost exactly the same as that one but with 25k miles on it and when trying to sell in Oct07 I had two offers of £35k the asking price but I decided in the end that I just couldnt sell....so that car for that price is a good deal.

I think i know the seller and if i am right i bought my SG CSL from him 18 months ago and is a thouroughly nice chap. Met him a few times since by chance when he had an Atom.

Seems to like changing cars so should be a good buy.

No wonder he turned it down!! Its in 'excellent' order and is well worth the asking price. £30k will now only get you a 45k + mile car or something which is in average or below condition...

Prices are very firm but I don't know if they're selling.

Sorry for jumping in but im interested in a CSL.

My situation is this. We need a useable second car and later on i wanted to get a track car aswell, prob a cat or an exige. Now i was going to buy an M3 cab for about 24 and later on spend 15/20 ish on a track car so obviosuly the figures are alot better to buy a CSL and let it do both jobs but are there back seats? Do any come with sat nav? My girlfriend hated my GT3 mainly cos of the bucket seats but i think i can get round this with a cheaper more useable car. Do they come as man and an smg?

CSL is a great all rounder ... average driver will be quicker in a CSL than a GT3 on track. No sat nav, yes they have rear seats, SMG only....
