Hey,

Need some input from you guys. My friend has a CSL (LHD) with 10.000km on it in prestine condition, just like new, amazing. It has been upgraded with AC Schnitzer parts, Öhlins ajustable chassi, 8-pot brakes, carbon hood, carbon seats that weigh just 2kg/seat, wheels, exhaust, carbon interior, rollbar etc... Upgrades has cost in excess of £50.000.

Any idea on what the car might be worth? Where would it fetch the best price? Anyone here that is interested?

Thanks!

I don't think anyone ever realises the value of modifications on a car come selling time, and as a result the best bet would be to revert the car to standard and try to flog it in mainland Europe, with a view to selling the after-market parts seperately.

The car only has just over 6k miles on it, and as such should command a top price, but LHD limits it's appeal over here I think. I would try looking on/advertising it somewhere like www.mobile.de to test the water.

By the way, which GT3 do you have, and does it cost the earth to keep in fine fettle?

I would definitely sell it in europe, Some countries had very few imports and so the price are high. Here in italy, standard car would be sold for 60 to 65000 Euro. As said above, would be best to put back to near std before trying to sell and then sell the mods individually.

As an indication, my CSL was probably the most modified around, with a full Flossman GTR bodykit, rollcage etc etc. I basically got the same price as a standard car.
