Some on e-bay for £495 (I think) - not sure of the quality. Toying with the idea of getting some for a track day set.

SSDD Motorsport is the only place to get them from. They come in either M3 ofsets of normal E46 offset but from the outside you still get the dished effect. Ask to speak to Teddy and say Roger sent you. And no I donthave mine anymore - sold it and bought a supercharged monaro.. quicker than these pesky CSL's

Says who? Would that be because I've bought them from two other places previously... I think driving that Vauxhall has affected your brain.

Genuine CSL wheels aren't so expensive and I would think twice about buying a cheaper replica (and no I am not saying SSDD wheels are replicas, I wouldn't know.

Bexley Motorsport in Kent bmsport.com can supply (I use these guys for lots of studff) as can Simpsons Motorsport in the Southwest.

I got a set of 19" BBS CH's with cups on if you are interested. Only used them for track days in my CSL.

I only say this as 360odd bhp is not enough when you have driven with 635 dyno proven horses with all the goodies in the chassis department as well... coffee

First let us be clear that I was pointing out that I did not agree with your comment that you could only get these wheels from SSDD, not knocking your car.

However since you mention it... in standard trim a I bet a CSL is quicker around the ring than a VXR Monaro. What your car isn't standard??? Well we're not comparing apples with apples then are we... excuse me whilst I go and supercharge my CSL. It is an irrelevance anyhow, so long as you're happy with it that is all that matters.

Cor typical BM driver - far to quick to bite biggrin Im not knockin em mate - CSL's are brilliant cars but after owning a tweaked 330sport for 3 yrs (longest ever owning one car!) I just couldnt keep looking at the same basic body shape and I also wanted something silly fast. Oh by the way, you would be very supprised how well these lumps actually go round corners when Clarkson aint driven them.rolleyes

like I say... horses for courses. I buy cars for me and they aren't to everyones taste (sure you understand that driving a monaro wink). I'm not into my car is better than your car as they are all different steeds for different deeds.

Anyway... about the CSL wheels?

Yes wheels - I got a set of reps from SSDD motorsport and they were very good quality, black chrome effect so different from the silver finish. They also had the same dish effect as the originals which looked very good. Obviously others out there now but Id recomend them to anyone, 2 years use, 80k miles and no flacking or corrosion at all. The guy also did offsets to suit M3's as well as normal E46's.

I also know of 2 other places that can supply genuine CSL wheels that have not been mentioned, so there's at least 4 other than the one you mentioned, they are not hard to come by in reality
