I'm pretty keen on getting a CSL but am not at all sure what to look for. I've got about £30K to spend on one. As both colours look great, is there anything I should look for aside what has already been covered in the excellent faq?

Hi,

I'm also in the market too... The price of CSL's seems to be dropping to 30k. Do people think they might drop more in the New Year? Am thinking with news of the new M3 CSL and all, plus cars are generally cheaper in Jan / Feb?

Cheers

I doubt prices will fall further in the NY and as spring approaches, expect them to firm even more.

Prices always rise in the new year after they've become deflated in Nov/Dec.

Winter blues and dealers outing stock to get some money back in the bin for year end.

Prices up, prices down. I'm never selling mine so it doesn't matter. Far, far too good a car.

You can offer me £50k for mine. You'll get a no answer. Sod the new CSL it won't be as good. I know!

Prices have been around the low £30k's for over a year now! and into the mid/high 30's for low mileage cars!

griffgrog, The Dude,

My Black CSL may be up for sale shortly. The car has all the options, full history, a whole host of other options available should you wish to purchase them. I am also renewing the full official BMW warranty in a couple of weeks.

Feel free to call me on 07813770705 anytime for more details

Just missed out on one. Went to the dealer and it had just been sold. Arrgghh!!!

Is there anyone around the Hitchin / Hertfordshire area with one that would be kind enough to take me for a spin in theirs?

There's another one for sale, but it's miles from where I live. I'd buy it over the phone but want to go out in one first.

When is the new CSL due out then? 2009 or something?

End of 2008 was what BMW originally said, but they are launching more cars next year than in any previous year (10 new cars in total), so it will be a challenge to schedule everything into the year.
