Currently looking at buying the 04 plate CSL currently on Pistonheads (Trade advertised at £37k)
It has only done 12k. It appears clean apart from stone chips at front. I have seen examples at 22k without - but would of thought these have been sprayed. Would this put you off??

I understand that some 04 plate examples were used as BMW Training cars - Any ideas on this.

I am considering this 04 example or another munich legends car. I would prefer an example that is less than 15k.

Look forward to your help, Thanks

p.s. Had to buy one after driving & for the sound alone

Stone chips, very normal and not really much concern.

yes bought my CSL at 19k miles and not a stone chip to be found but 12k miles later chipped to buggery.

They must all have been repainted under warranty or touched up at the front every time they are sold if no visible stone chips

Was working for me.

I had the front bumper re-painted under warranty on my old CSL. If it's not been done already (I would guess it hasn't if it's badly chipped at 12K) you may still be able to get it done under warranty.

Crutially the paint needs to shown signs of lifting and not just chipping.

Just remember, the Munich Legends car didn't have it's 1200 mile running in check completed.
