I understand that the gap between the 'standard' M3 and the CSL will be bigger this time round - more akin to a 997S v 997GT3 (although I don't imagine that in the BMWs case it will be a totally different engine!) Spent the day on track in a well set up CSL recently - goodness me it was quick, GT3 quick which suprised me. Bit of a bargain and the ideal drive to and on 'Ring/Spa warrior. But you guys already know that! Best lock my cheque book away for a few days 'till this latest foolishness wears off! Must be sensible and just wait for the new one.

For the love of god do not post that on the Porsche forum or you'll be in all kinds of trouble!Pugsey i'm sure your 430 is better than a gt3 but then at the money they're at you could have a new gt3 and 2 mint low mile csl' in the garage.
no disrespect as i'm seriously falling for the lines of a 430 and think it will be the next step after my rs arrives in a couple of weeks. say 12 months down the line when they are a little more in my price brackets.
