Don't appear to be any in the dealer network at present.

Good news for those that have one, not so good for those who want one.....

Is it me, or are the values creeping up again? I have noticed this mainly on the silver grey ones. I'm interested in getting one after my current motor, one with all the goodies that costs less than £32K, but all is not looking peachy at the mo.

Have been keeping an eye on things myself and it seems that lack of availability in the dealers for warrantied cars might be pushing up values of good private examples.

Good luck finding a dealer that knows what your Maserati is let alone what to do with it

Think you need to sort disposal of that yourself, be it to a specialist or privately

That Terry Tibbs skit is absolutely qualitylaugh.
Munich Legends has a CSL with low milage and low price, but the ad states that the running in service was carried out well into 6K miles, would this really cause a bollock ache in the long run?

Hi there

Think it can cause some issues, especially with extended warranty. I believe if the 1200 service was not done on time then BMW won't let you take out extended warranty options which is really a must on these cars.

I thought BMW use running in oil before the first service. 6k on running in oil will have a damaging affect as it is lower quality deliberately to aid bedding in of the bores/bearings etc.

That's a myth - the oil in the cars from the factory is just the same as that used through the rest of the car's life.

6,000 running-in service and that price is a a bit rich though.

Don't really see why a service is required at 1,200 then as good oil doesn't bed in components.

It's adjustments of the valve gear I've heard.

Nope they change the engine and diff oil at 1200. I can't believe anyone buys an M3 let alone a CSL without being aware of this and having it done on time! Clowns...
