Is it me or is this forum the quietest place on earth?
Used to the banter, cameraderie and discussions etc of the TVR forums and general feeling of owning something special. This is definately not the case here, or is it that there are so few owners out there?

Your not wrong there! Very few posts compared to other forums. I previously owned a 993, Caterhams etc and there was a lot more going on on their forums. However, there are not many CSLs about and dare I say some may not be owned by pure enthusiasts.

Same feeling here.

I am registered on different BMW forum's and I have to say that this one ( CSL sub forum) is the quiest I've ever seen !!

For me it's not only ' a fast car' but it represents a lot more in the BMW history.

Therefore I am also interested in all ' collectable' items like sale brochures, articles etc..

It's a fantastic car which is in the same spirit as a 2002 Turbo, 3.0 CSL, ///M3 E30 Evo,Cecotto or Sport Evolution, ///M3 E36 GT etc etc.

Just like you said, maybe the owners are not really BMW enthusiasts

Still, I am very curious about the meeting in Spa ! 12 CSL's...

You don't have to regularly post to be a BMW enthusiast. I'm usually too busy working to pay for my passion and hobby.....BMW's

Okay, seeing as it's very quiet here I'll post a 'spotted' post.

I saw a very sexy blonde on Friday evening on my home from work cruising in a grey CSL on the A316 up to and beyond Richmond. Anyone on here or anyone's wife/gf? Last 3 letters of reg were LTZ.

The CSL page of the forum hasn't been around for long. The earlier posts were taken from the BMW forum.

BM3W is where it's at. More posts than you can shake a stick at.
This section here was only introduced when it looked like the guys who run BM3W were about to knock it on the head.

Had a short period of being unavailable recently due to moving the site to a new host but I log on there pretty much every day without issue. Having said that, the main page always seems to take a little while to respond but once you're past that it's fine.

Yeah, it's pretty quiet in here, but then CSL is a pretty specific subject area for it's own forum.

I think it was a good idea to split the BMW forum up a little, even though it has pretty much resulted in the BMW General part becoming only a technical queries section. However I think they should have just made two sections, BMW General and M Power.
