Hello

This is my first post. I live in Germany close to the Ring and am about to buy a LHD CSL. I am looking at a high milage (100,000 Km 'mostly on the autobahn') car that has 'never been tracked' for 42,000 euro. I don't mind the high milage and low cost as I intend to thrash the car at the Ring and put a lot of road miles on it.

The car drives perfectly and is in good condition. But it has M3 wheels and Pilot Sport ZP runflats. Does anyone have any experience with these tyres? They seem to fit with the 'auobahn and no track' history and should be okay for winter use. I'll probably get some 18" track wheels with sticky rubber for the summer at the Ring.

Any comments are welcome!

The former owner sounds like he may have been a bit of a numpty. Between the M3 wheels and the RFT's, the car probably weighs as much as a stock M3...

+++ I have not bought it yet. The price is 42,000 euro (about 27,800 pounds). Lower mileage CSLs in Germany start at about 55,000 euro. You can see 20 of them on www.mobile.de
