Known issues covered under warranty????

Well..actually bought one

Collect within the next couple of weeks. Pre-registered by BMW and 1 private owner. In SG with Air con, xenons, PDC...blah blah and just over 30K miles. The current owner has an order in place for a GT3.

It's an August 04 car so the warranty is still in place. I would be very interested to learn what the common (and not so common) items that get picked up under warranty are - so I can make sure the car is tip top. Also, what's the cost of extending the warranty at the moment??

I assume we are talking about the front bumper area?

One question, are the front carbon splitters removable for replacement? They are pretty low and vulnerable, my off side one had a bit of a nick in it.

Yep, have seen that one. Wasn't sure if there was another one on Pistonheads.
