After a well sorted TVR T350 for 18 months and many grins.I have found a nice CSL private sale and agreed the deal. Pick her up tomorrow and still has BMW warranty till Feb 08. Hope I enjoy as much as you guys.
Any recommended mods hewn from your experiences would be appreciated.

Is this the one in Reading? I had a look at that and it's a good, genuine car. Well sorted and with the BMW warranty you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

Not the one in reading - but you wouldnt believe it a private sale and the owner only lives round the corner. 24000 miles, new tyres, lightweight everything no radio, no aircon, no speakers,ex gt3rs owner, all warranty work done even new diff under warranty pre purchase today. Kick plates under warranty today, spare M3 wheels for winter/ track, warranty till 08, full main dealer s/h and enthusiast owned. 2 previous owners including the one selling.
Dont think I would find better cant tell you price for obvious reasons

I hope you got a good deal with no aircon/radio! They usually sell for £3k - £4k less than ones with. Two weeks ago I paid £32k for an immaculate (and I mean immaculate!) 2 owner car, Sapphire Black, 23,000 miles, Pilot Cups + a set of Goodyear Eagles, Supersprint Exhaust plus original exhaust, full BMW s/h and warranty until July 07.

I agree that the CSL should have come as yours is described but, I wouldn't buy one without those bits from a future resale point of view.

BUT, you have got the 'Real Deal'!!

Yes,
I suppose I have got the real deal as not so many in this spec. Its SB on Vin No. Car runs well and is in excellent condition bar a few small (very small) chips on the bonnet. Checked out the BMW dealers today as car was having new diff under warranty. They gave me all the warranty job sheets done since Feb 06. Total = £7152.00
So I cant say it hasnt been fastidiously maintained.
Diff
Trim
Roof Rails
Discs front
Discs Rear
Pads
Software upgrades
Flywheel
Clutch
SMG programme
Just a really nice clean car as it should be.
Welcome to the forum as they say. Interested on recommended upgrades.

Well done on joining the CSL fold.
Make sure that you get it at a good price, not having A/C, as it devalues them significantly. I found that out to my cost when I sold my last 'non A/C' CSL.
You will love it....

Price high or low in my opinion against all others for sale was a good deal.
Could have bought one with a/c at another 2k, but possibly wouldnt have had all the work done that this one has.
Now boys and girls what about recommended upgrades?

Initial driving experience is not as visceral as the TVR T350, but the quality is there and the engines a screamer that can be driven progressive or aggressive. An absolute delight and well pleased.

Upgrades depends on what you're planning to do with the car but buying a CSL and not tracking it is criminal IMO. I think the only area for real concern on track is the brakes, which are a weak spot on all BMW 'M' cars. Either pad/fluid/hose upgrade or go the full hog and get a set of AP's on it. To get the most out of the Cup tyres and to cut down understear, get a geo set up with as much negative front camber as possible .... I think its about -2 deg on stanrad struts.

Yes I believe negative front camber -2 to -3 degrees is optimal for the cup tyres- what about exhaust/ maps and high flow cats and cams?

The car is quick enough without re maps etc. Look at the standard car's 'ring time, then look what's slower, spend your money on cups and decent bushes etc. IMO.
