ie range, mpg etc or is it just a clock that sits there all the time?

It does, but it goes agains the ethos of owning one to actually use it.

True...

I think something is wrong with mine though - it constantly reads ">C4S"

Anyone know what that means?

you have avg speed on your trip computer? I only have mpg (low), range, outside temp, time...

I may be confusing the CSL with the M3s I had before. Come to think of it I don't get average speed on the binnacle display in the M5. It definitely did come up on my normal M3s. Perhaps on the CSL, that entry was replaced by the oil level reading.

Definatley does not have av speed as std. I have seen a vid on YouTube with a stopwatch though ???? Is this somthing that can be switched on with the OCB laptopy thinggy?

You can get it to display the speed (only in kph)

There are instructions somewhere on bm3w, might be worth finding them and posting them here before bm3w goes.
