probably matter when it was new but if its done 70K+ miles I wouldn't worry about it unless you're going to flip it anytime soon? ask https://everythingm3s.co.uk see what they say as they work on these engines all the time
I suspect when the dealer bought the car at an auction they might have not realised the small issue of the overdue first run in service.
I would use it as leverage to reduce price.. car should be clean otherwise so why discount it. I bet plenty of other cars which look ok on paper have been ragged to death on track.. so...

Congratulations and well done. How much did you pay in the end (sorry if it is mentioned earlier in the thread). Was there much movement on the advertised price? I think these cars are at an age where a 1200 mile running service is neither here nor there. If it has not broken yet then it will be fine.I bought a new battery for mine last month having had and OEM (lightweight) BMW one which despite having a maintenance charger on it only lasted 3 years - Exide name on it. Not impressed at all.
I bet you are looking forward to some nicer weather and the end of lockdown.
