Alloy fittings

Evening All

Thanks for allowing my onto the site i have no doubt this question has been asked a 1000 time before but i really do need so help. I have 2001 BMW 3 Series 323CI it came fitted second hand with 19'' alloys fitted i recently cracked an alloy which cannot be repaired. I have bought a new set of 4 from a well known internet site and have been royally screwed over once i entered the details into the site they informed me they would fit. However the tyre fitters? fitted them and as drove down the road in cloud of smoke turns out the allow are ruubing on the inside rim of the wheel arc. I think the problem is the ET on these alloys are ET20 hwich from my research will not fit my vehicle im considering rolling my wheel arches . Just looking for any other solutions or if anybody could tell me the the best 19" and ET fit.
