I'm after a bit of help from an E46 CSL owner! We are making a bespoke trailer cover for someone who occasionally transports an E46 CSL and he does;t know the dimensions for us to be able to fabricate a frame that will allow him to open the door whilst on the trailer. Could someone help us with the following dimensions;
Front bumper to rear edge of door (i.e. the opening end)
Front bumper to door hinge (i.e. front of door)
Many thanks!

Right, just went and had a look, and the leading front point of the car is actually the numberplate. That probably sounds obvious, but I had presumed that the carbon flippers would extend out further forward, but they don't
Anyway, according to my trusty tape-measure:
- from numberplate back to leading front edge of the door (i.e. the mirror end) is approx 55.5 inches
- from numberplate back to rear edge of the door (i.e. the handle end) is approx 108.5 inches
Hope that helps and is what you're after
