Expecting another addition to the family so thinking of swapping my 964 for a csl as it just wont have the space for 2. Its a 2nd car, just the odd occasion i need to use it with the family.

First off wondering if anyone has gone down this route and thoughts? Also I've been keeping any eye on prices for a few months and there seems to be the odd car come up in the low 20's. However at the moment cheapest car on the classifieds is up for 26k, is this the market moving on or just that there are no other milage cars up at the moment as this seemed to be the determining factor of the lower priced cars?

Cheers!

CSL's forsale circa £20k will be 100,000+ mile examples. For one with half that mileage/warranty/FSH etc you'll be looking at nearer 30k. Then theres all others in between with the odd low mileage one going for silly money £45k +

Have a look on cslregister. There will be info on most cars forsale.

As for coming from your 911, i really dont think you will be disappointed. I run a 997 RS also and the CSL is easily as much fun to drive. For practicality, fun factor and cost they are a bargain.

Cheers, not too fussed about milage as long as its been looked and with regular servicing. Cheers will have a look on the csl register.

Much as I like 911s, it would take an extra special one to get me out of the CSL, maybe a 964 RS or a 3.6 Turbo

The noise will have you hooked straightaway, but there's more to it than that. Take it down your favourite road and they just come alive. I reckon you'll have no regrets buying one as a second car

2 cars you have mentioned are 70k+ cars though!! Tbh I wasn't that taken with the 911 when I first bought it. I moved from a 4.0 Tuscan, so it seemed very tame. However its been a real grower, and I really like it now.

I swapped from a 993 to a CSL. Both cars felt really special but the CSL was alive after the 993. The CSL steering was the only aspect that was not as nice as the 993 but then the 964 and 993 offer exceptional feedback in this area. You will not regret the move.

Hi, mine is up for sale on the register if of interest, as I am going the other way, BMW to Porsche!

Great cars, this is my 2nd but it's an itch I have to scratch, anyway let me know if you would like some more details.

Cheers, would have to look to shift mine first unless you fancy a deal. It's a gr coupe, only 87k miles full history etc.
