Ultimate CSL plate? 'E46 CSL' up for sale

Noticed this going through the DVLA online auction... surely could be of interest to someone here?

Currently at £1,300... I know its not as good as 'M3 CSL' but not far off!

BMW did originally. It was up for £15,000 a few years ago.

M3 CSL has been through a few buyers. BMW had it originally on what I think was a press car and I think they sold it for £20k. It went for £10k a number of years back but no idea where it is now.

Went for just under £2k. Probably not a bad buy if that floats yer boat.

M3 CSL is the ultimate!
I owned it for about 18 months, Paid 10k then sold for 10k in 2009 to an acquaintance in Norwich, who I believe still has the plate on a very low mile CSL!

..I went to the launch of the CSL @ Rockingham in 2003, and had a ticket to drive for the day, memorable it was too, but this plate was put in a raffle on the day, I didn't win it, took me another 6 years to get my car too..!

I have the chavy version "M333 CSL"

Just buy a nice 2 digit
