Computer Nanny on E36 M3 Evo????

Just another wee problem I was wondering could you’s help me are is there any more Progress on this???

Is there any truth that E36 M3 Evo car’s come with a “COMPUTER NANNY” they wreck in it restricts power in lower revs to stop car spinning that why a non Evo M3 can sit side by side with a M3 Evo till third gear????

They said it is “A plug on the side of the Gearbox”

And all you do is “Disconnect the plug on the side of the Gearbox and permanently bridge the two connections together”
They claim that it removes some sort of limiter that the ECU applies in 1st and 2nd Gears

Is this true are has anyone done it??????????
