Hello there guys just wondering if someone can help, I'm installing a 3.2evo lsd to my e36 328is and was told to swap the output flanges on my diff with the ones out the 3.2 LSD to make it fit, but they are a smaller size and will not fit, what output flanges do I need?

Any help would be very greatfull!

Somebody told you wrong,

It is the 3.0 M3 LSD that fits, to fit the 3.2 i belive you have to change quite abit more.

I've fitted the 3.2 diff, and I used a 3.0 (note NOT 3.2) prop shaft due to the 5 speed box, and 3.2 drive shafts. I didn't check the drive shaft flanges but thought they were the same as the 328i ones? All you need to do is either use a 3.0 prop shaft, or look into the possibility of swapping the input flanges over on the diff, this is possible with the 3.0 diff, but not sure about the 3.2 diff.

I have a 328 5 speed box in my 3.2 M3 so that makes it the same as what your doing.
What you need is the 3.0 M3 propshaft.

Edit to add: Not sure how easy it is to fit the 3.2 diff itself, as others have said and I have seen posted before somewhere, you may need to fit other 3.2 kit (carrier, driveshafts, hubs etc.) for it to fit.
