Strange noise from rear axle.
Discussion
Hi Fellas, sorry for the internet diagnosis request but I have a strange noise coming from the back of my E46 M3. It's an 02 with 61k on the clock. It had a new diff fitted by BMW last year under warranty as there was a seal leaking. It can't have more than 5k on the diff and it has an easy life as a London car mostly.
When turning left under full lock there is a strange rubbing vibration kind of noise which feels like it's coming from the passenger side left wheel. It's related to rotation and goes away when straight.
The car looks to be sitting straight - drives and accelerates straight and when it was MOT'd about 4 months ago I was told the springs had not failed.
The reason I ask as I expect this is just a wheel bearing but the car is under full AUC warranty. I'd prefer to have an Indy replace the bearing but if this would be covered under the warranty I'd use BMW obviously.
Can anyone advise?

I've got a similar problem. Have booked in for diff oil change next week. £80. A very common problem, but not one to worry about, apparently. When turning left under full lock there is a strange rubbing vibration kind of noise which feels like it's coming from the passenger side left wheel.
