i know its a uk supplied m3,but what model?
tried to order a part today and the bmw dealer says its an evo,i dont think it is,the car has all the evo spoilers but i assume these have been added later

Evo I production dates 02/87 through 05/87.
Evo II production dates 03/88 through 06/88.
Evo III production dates 12/89 through 03/90.

Your cars production date 05/1989.

ETA, AK01 with 05/89 production means its European-spec without catalyst (200 hp), 03/86 through 08/89.
